Basic Troubleshooting

ALL LIGHTS OUT?

  1. Blown Primary Fuse
    1. Too many amps on transformers
    2. Short on home run
    3. Wrong size fuse
    4. Not a slow-blow fuse
  1. No Power to Transformer
    1. Check 120 volt plug
    2. Check for tripped GFCI
    3. Check circuit breaker
    4. Switch in home is off
    5. Works on a photocell
    6. Bypass timer, pull out timer and plug in cord
    7. Cover eye with tape or install photocell jumper

ONE RUN OF LIGHTS OUT?

  1. No Power to Fixture or HUB
    1. Loose connection at transformer
    2. Is the cable cut?
    3. Check connections at HUBs and/or fixtures
    4. Bad lamps
    5. Secondary breaker/fuse tripped at transformer
    6. Fuse in the HUB has blown
